From strangers to friends…

It’s been a busy few weeks since launching the website. I’m honoured to have met such wonderfully talented and inspirational young people. Some still at university and looking for the opportunity to gain some work experience and others throwing caution to the wind and launching their very own start up businesses.

Amazing coffee house or should I say creative hub The Plug In based in Dinas Powis celebrating their first birthday.

Over the last couple of weeks I ran a variety of workshops – mind mapping and brand management coaching sessions for an established catering company and I have received feedback from a couple if other clients sharing some fabulous success stories. Some I will be interviewing and publishing on the Lynchpin Launchpad page and possibly in our local magazine Penarth View in the Autumn.

From coaching sessions to cakes. I brought together a team of like minded ladies to set up ‘Penarth Bake Off’ that we hope will help raise money for an amazing cause – Forces Support. More to follow about this charity from one of our team members Sian Woodland.

Myself and Jon Turtle (a local and very talented photographer to Penarth) have launched @penarthhour and we are overjoyed with the support from local residents and businesses tweeting about their latest news and events.

It’s a case of putting all our ideas and initiatives into action over the next couple of weeks. I hope you have had a productive and fun week. Don’t hesitate to contact me with any suggestions for my blog, if you know if any new start ups or local entrepreneurs needing mentoring or guidance. Even if you’re looking for a couple of ideas. Email me! I love to brainstorm!

 Happy weekend
