This week we are very excited to be planning our very first HYGGE RETREAT
After reading recent magazine articles and books about how the Danish implement and celebrate the simple pleasures of life we decided to dig alittle deeper. They call it HYGGE (pronounced Hu Ga) and basically it’s about cherishing yourself and making time to enjoy everyday pleasures whether that be reading a book, watching a movie, having a PJ day, beach walks with friends, enjoying good food and drink or simply taking an afternoon nap.
We learnt that Denmark has been named the Happiest country on earth and it’s mainly due to their HYGGE culture. So we thought we would like to learn how to adopt this way of living and what a better way to start than by hosting a HYGGE retreat…
